NR (Natural Rubber)

Natural rubber (NR)
  • Natural rubber is alternatively called the ribbed smoked sheet (RSS).
  • Since 1800, natural rubber has been produced by collecting liquids from rubber trees distributed in the Amazon River basin, the Malay Peninsula, and East India. The raw materials of natural rubber are divided into dry and liquid rubber. Dry rubber is produced as naturally dried rubber by coagulating liquids collected from rubber trees, and liquid rubber is named latex.
  • Its main ingredient is isoprene, and it has excellent elasticity, abrasion resistance, and low-temperature resistance, as well as excellent adhesion, tensile strength, abrasivity, and machinability, thereby being highly compatible with synthetic rubber.
Application
  • Due to its mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and dynamic properties, natural rubber is widely used in aircraft parts, automotive tires, dustproof rubber, shoes, hoses, belts, general purpose, and industrial products. It is used in rubber bands, rubber balls, rubber threads, rubber balloons, rubber tires, anti-earthquake rubbers, and medical rubbers.
